IDEATION

  • -The game idea generator gave me ‘Spy School’ and I decided to go with it.
  • -I brainstormed about twenty ideas relating to the Spy School’ theme and ended up deciding on the idea…
  • -I sketched out some character ideas
  • -Then sketched out the path I’d like the game to take
  • -Felt good about my ideas and I was ready to make it digital
  • -My first attempt at bringing my game to life was on track but it was a draft.
  • -After seeing the layout of my game and feeling confident I began designing characters and scenes
  • -Once I had the game laid out and character/scenes in game, I began playing around with all the events so I knew what was possible so I could add cool pieces to the game.
  • -I added dialogues, multiple choice decisions, doors and entrances to new scenes, timers, sprite changes
  • -Eventually I felt like my game was exactly what I wanted it to be

“ You’re a spy student who loses his spy hat only to discover it was stolen! You have to find clues to figure out who took it and get it back for spy school graduation. “
